MOLESKINE DOODLES: River Horse by kerbyrosanes MOLESKINE DOODLES: River Horse by kerbyrosanes
Yay! 20th page spread of my moleskine sketchbook!

WIKI TIME: The hippopotamus (Hippopotamus amphibius), or hippo, from the ancient Greek for "river horse" (ἱπποπόταμος), is a large, mostly herbivorous mammal in sub-Saharan Africa, and one of only two extant species in the family Hippopotamidae (the other is the pygmy hippopotamus).

- Approx. 2 hours of doodling
- Uni Pin pens on moleskine pocket sketchbook

I like the details in this drawing.  It looks like the robotic pieces are consuming the hippo.
My mom loves hippos.  They are beautiful, but also dangerous too.  Keep up the wonderful work.

The tech part... His body is a mass of tech chemicals experiments and gears...

gives this piece a vibe of pollution and it's effects on the natural habitat and the animals that live there. I really like this, for the meaning I'm getting.
and all those details of the body....... Unf! omgmaaaaaaaaaaaaannn.....
I really really really love your style.
